The process includes the following steps:
Pre-Construction Meeting — We will meet with you to explain the entire construction process and timetable. We will discuss key construction steps, review the types of materials and equipment included in your home and take the time to answer any questions you may have before construction begins.
Weathertight Walk Through — When your home is weathertight and ready for drywall we will walk through your home so you can understand the inner workings of your home and we can agree on any last minute changes before the drywall is installed. This is an opportunity to verify construction to this point and to ask further questions.
Vantage Point Pre-Closing Inspection — Before your scheduled closing date Vantage Point Retirement Living will conducts its own inspection of your home to ensure that everything is in working order and to identify any open items. We will make sure that all of our quality standards are met and make sure that your home is cleaned in advance of the Homebuyers Pre-Closing Walk Through.
Homebuyers Pre-Closing Walk Through — When your home is finished we will walk you through your home prior to closing. We will take you on a room-by-room tour so that you can inspect our finished product and review the operation of all equipment and appliances.
30-Day Follow-up — We will return to your home approximately 30 days after closing to make sure that any outstanding issues that you may have noticed during your settling-in process are dealt with. We will return as needed to resolve these issues to your complete satisfaction.
